Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take to receive my order?   You should receive all merchandise orders within 7-10 business days.  Most orders are received within 2-3 days after item ships.  Eggs and live birds usually take between 1-2 days depending on where you live.

What payment methods do you accept? We accept checks, money orders, Visa, Mastercard and Discover.   We also accept payments using your Paypal debit card.  We are working on accepting credit cards through our website.  If you wish to use a credit card please call us or give us your phone number and we will return your call momentarily.  Please do not email us any credit card information.   Credit cards are accepted through Paypal as well as our terminal at our business.  Need a quote on a multiple quantity order?  Send us an email and we will send you an invoice with your quote and giving you the option of paying for it online if you wish to order. 

How will my package arrive? Most orders ship USPS or FedEx.  All eggs ship USPS Priority Mail.   Foam orders ship either Priority Mail or Parcel Post depending on your zip code.  Due to new postal service shipping schedules please allow 8-10 days for foam orders to arrive if mailed using Parcel Post shipping.  This is only an estimate and depends primarily on your location.

What does drop ship mean?To help reduce high overhead costs many of our items are drop shipped directly from the manufacturer.  This will include cabinet incubators, brooders, and other items.  All eggs, birds, books and foam shipping supplies are shipped from our farm.

When will my order be shipped?Many orders are shipped the same day the order is received.  We usually ship all orders within 24 hours.  If we cannot fill your order within 48-72 hours you will be notified by email.

If I live outside of the U.S. can I still order?Most items in our store are available for export including incubators.  Please contact us for availability and prices for shipping.  Books are shipped free in the U.S.A. ONLY.  Please contact us for shipping rates prior to ordering for other locations.

 Why does my cart order not show any shipping charges for some items?Some items such as our shipping foam requires us to manually calculate your shipping charges and therefore does not show up in the cart.  For large items such as stackable brooder kits truck delivery may apply and we have to calculate the shipping for you manually to get you the best price available.
